We are going to stop taking orders at 3pm, Sat ( tomorrow) for next week. There are so many feelings at this time of year, and I want you to know I'm here for you. Our special flower community is precious. Thank you to each and every one of you special humans. It's Wed, the 17th, and that means it's the late night open till 8 for your local shops. At this time of the year, there are many feelings. Ranging from joy, happiness, gratitude, and love to sadness, loneliness, loss, stress, and, of course, all the feelings in-between and sometimes all the feelings together. Pretty table decorations don't need to be full-on to light up the room. Get those orders in. The diary is filling up. @knowle_constitutional_club has a little but very worth it market... Winter Wonderland. I like winter feels. This is a long rambling video of floriography after a busy day.

Paxton & Brown Caterers - Great For All Events especially Weddings

We are Ben, James and Henny and between us we’ve worked in more fine eateries than you can shake a stick at. We’ve spent years running some of the best independent restaurants around, creating mouth-watering menus and hosting superb events for happy people

Many, many moons ago (15 years), the three of us met whilst working in one of Bristol’s best restaurant and bars and through a lot (and we mean a lot) of busy days and a bit (!!) of late night drinking became firm friends! We have waitered, bar tendered, managed and cooked in award winning restaurants including Thornbury Castle, Le Trenchard Manor, Redcliffs, Severnshed, Rick Steins Seafood Restaurant and Goldbrick House – to name just a few.

With our dedication and vast experience in the catering and hospitality industry, we provide a seamless, professional and most importantly, personal service for you and your guests.  When it comes to choosing a caterer, be fussy, you need perfection, you need Paxton & Brown.

At Bristol Women’s Workshop, our charity’s mission is to empower women by teaching them hands-on woodworking skills in a fun and supportive environment. We're here to break the mould and give women confidence and creativity in a traditionally male-dominated craft.

Anne has been a key figure at Bristol Women's Workshop since its beginning, bringing decades of teaching experience. After attending a girls' school with no woodworking opportunities, Anne discovered her passion in an all-male evening class. This sparked her mission to empower women by teaching practical skills, which she has refined through continuous education and carpentry qualifications.

A long-time meditator, Anne integrates a meditative aspect into woodworking, helping her students find calm and focus. She believes that working with tools leads to a more satisfying life and a deeper connection to the environment. Anne is passionate about breaking barriers for women in woodworking, helping them realize their potential
